Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Outdoors. At heights. Confined spaces. Noisy. Wet/damp. Work setting: Various locations. High-rise building construction sites. Construction site. Commercial. Tasks: Load, unload and transport construction materials. Clean and pile salvaged materials. Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants. Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites. Measure, cut, thread and bend pipes to required shape and size. Cut opening in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings. Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering, brazing and welding equipment. Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges. Construction specialization: Industrial, commercial and institutional. Residential. Transportation/travel information: Own vehicle. Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Handling heavy loads. Hand-eye co-ordination. Bending, crouching, kneeling.
