Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Outdoors. Underground. Confined spaces. Work setting: Construction site. Sewers and water mains. Pipeline construction (large diameter). Tasks: Load, unload and transport construction materials. Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades. Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt. Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction. Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Personal protective equipment (PPE) training. Confined Space Entry Training. Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Working at heights training. Type of product: Asphalt or concrete finishes. Equipment and machinery experience: Concrete saws. Trampers (Jumping Jack). Chain saw. Sledgehammer. Hand tools.
