Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Noisy. Work setting: Willing to relocate. Agricultural equipment. Tasks: Assemble mechanical parts into subassemblies. Assemble, fit and install prefabricated parts to form subassemblies or finished products. Read blueprints to determine work requirements . Assemble or connect electrical components. Position, align and adjust parts for proper fit and assembly. Connect cables, tubes and wires. Fasten parts together using fastening and joining equipment. Operate small cranes to transport or position larger parts. Inspect finished products for proper functioning. Check mechanical assemblies and subassemblies for alignment and proper functioning. Test and check electrical assemblies and wiring for proper connection. Make minor adjustments and repairs. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Overhead Crane Certification. Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Forklift Operator Certification. Inspection or testing specialization: Finished products. Mechanical assemblies and subassemblies. Area of specialization: Testing. Assembly. Inspection. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Manual dexterity. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Standing for extended periods.
