*Job Overview* We are seeking a friendly and efficient *Barista (FULL TIME AVAILABILITY) * to join our team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, engaging with customers and contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. Prior experience in the food industry or as a barista is preferred, but we will train the right candidate. The position requires strong time management skills, attention to detail, and a passion for providing excellent service. *Duties* * Barista's/ kitchen staff. * Make sure every customer is greeted and served well. Ensure smoooth workflow between front and back of house. * Moniter speed of service and quality of food/drinks. * Clearly communicate expectations, updates, and feebacks. * Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks according to company standards. * Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for accurate cash handling and transactions * Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling food items and maintaining food safety standards * Ensure cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food handling and sanitation procedures * Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions, and provide friendly service * Manage cash register operations, including cashiering and basic math calculations for transactions * Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times * Maintain inventory levels of supplies and ingredients, notifying management of shortages*Skills* * Previous *Barista experience* or background in the *food industry* is highly desirable * Proficiency with *POS systems*, especially *Micros POS* * Strong *customer service* skills with an emphasis on creating a welcoming environment * Excellent *time management* skills to handle busy periods efficiently * Ability to perform *food preparation* and *food handling* safely and accurately * Basic *math* skills for cash handling, making change, and transaction accuracy * Knowledge of *food safety* standards and proper hygiene practices * Effective communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members This position offers an engaging work environment where your skills in food service, customer interaction, and efficient operations will be valued.
