Job details
Operates all heavy equipment for the City; this includes the grader, excavator, skid steer, hydro-vac, loader, backhoe, 3A tandem and sewer flushing equipment. *Required Qualifications:* *Education & Certifications* * Valid Class 5 & 3A Saskatchewan driver?s licenses * Heavy equipment operator ticket * Satisfactory results from a criminal record check and drivers abstract *Experience* * A minimum of 1-year previous experience in a similar capacity *Knowledge, Skills & Abilities* * Knowledge of equipment maintenance * Ability to work with minimal supervision * Must be able and willing to perform all duties of the job in various weather conditions for extended periods * Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and productive working relationships * Good communication and comprehension ability - written and oral *Hours:* * Monday-Friday, 7:00AM-4:00PM or 5:00AM-2:00PM (for snow removal) * The incumbent will be on call regularly for emergency situations outside of regular office hours Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $27.89 per hour Benefits: * Company pension * Dental care * Extended health care * Life insurance Flexible language requirement: * French not required Work Location: In person- Location Meadow Lake, SK
