<p>Audiologist- Infant Hearing Program Temporary Full Time (37.5 hours/week) until September 17, 2027 Brampton Site Work Arrangement: On-Site Replacement Position Compensation Range: $45.80 - $53.87/hour Position Summary: ErinoakKids Centre for Treatment and Development is seeking an Audiologist to join the Infant Hearing Program (IHP) team in a temporary full-time replacement position.</p><p>ErinoakKids is the lead agency for Ontario’s Infant Hearing Program in the Central West Region, which includes Halton, Peel, Waterloo, Wellington and Dufferin.</p><p>The program provides hearing screening, diagnostic audiology, amplification management, and family-centred early intervention services for infants and young children from birth to six years of age.</p><p>More than 30,000 newborns access hearing screening within the Central West region each year.</p><p>Early detection and timely intervention are essential to support optimal communication, language, learning, and developmental outcomes for children with permanent hearing loss.</p><p>The successful candidate will work as part of an inter-professional team to provide evidence-based paediatric audiology services, family education, and coordinated care.</p><p>All IHP audiologists must complete training in required IHP protocols to practice in this area.</p><p>Training will be provided as part of employment, as needed.</p><p>Travel between ErinoakKids sites may be required, with an optional one day/week to support the Guelph location.</p><p>Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive paediatric audiological assessments in accordance with Infant Hearing Program protocols.</p><p>Perform age-appropriate behavioural hearing assessments, including Visual Reinforcement Audiometry (VRA) and Conditioned Play Audiometry (CPA).</p><p>Interpret assessment results and communicate findings clearly and sensitively to families and caregivers.</p><p>Provide family-centred counselling and education regarding hearing status, communication development, amplification options, and available support.</p><p>Prescribe, fit, verify and monitor hearing technology in accordance with IHP protocols and clinical best practices.</p><p>Collaborate with Screeners, Audiologists, Speech-Language Pathologists, ASL Consultants, Social Workers, community partners including Physicians and Hearing Instrument Specialists to support coordinated care.</p><p>Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, reporting, and data collection requirements.</p><p>Participate in quality improvement activities, program development and implementation of clinical best practices.</p><p>Complete Ministry-required Infant Hearing Program training and maintain competency in applicable IHP protocols.</p><p>Qualifications: Required Master’s Degree in Audiology.</p><p>Registration and be in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO).</p><p>Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with infants, children, caregivers, families, and staff.</p><p>Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of an inter-professional team and establish positive relationships with clients, families and members of the child’s care team.</p><p>Well-developed clinical skills, sound clinical judgement, thoroughness, accuracy, attention to detail, and commitment to quality improvement required.</p><p>Ability to support other ErinoakKids sites as demand requires.</p><p>Ability to complete other related duties as assigned.</p><p>Preferred Experience working with infants, toddlers, preschool-aged children, and families.</p><p>Minimum one-year relevant paediatric audiology experience.</p><p>Experience conducting behavioural hearing assessments using Visual Reinforcement Audiometry (VRA) and Conditioned Play Audiometry (CPA).</p><p>Experience with paediatric hearing aid selection, fitting, verification and follow-up.</p><p>Experience working with chi- Location Brampton, ON
